We also have opportunities for conversation classes. These focus on using the language and practicing with other students, teachers and volunteers.

Level progression

Learning a language is different for everyone.

Our teachers use different methods and approaches to help all types of learners. Whether you’re more of a visual learner, auditory, or something else (such as kinesthetic), there’s a place for you in our classrooms!

Students cover all the basic skills to advance through one level in 20 weeks, divided into two 10-week sessions. In one session a student completes level 1A, and in the next 10-week session they’re enrolled in level 1B to complete Level 1.

At the end of the 20 weeks, students advance to the next level with their professor’s approval. There are 6 levels in total, and we can offer classes beyond that if requested.
